Teen pregnancy in the United States has declined recently; however, it is still higher than in other developed countries, and there are several reasons for this. Some of these reasons include lack of comprehensive sex education, poverty, cultural factors, lack of contraception accessibility, peer pressure, as well as early onset of puberty. In this presentation Elizabeth will talk about and explore the impact of teen pregnancy; Elizabeth will focus on the main factors that contribute to early pregnancy and their effect. Then she will analyze the different research perspectives on what causes teenage pregnancy, and finally, she will address possible solutions to mitigate teenage pregnancy.
