Description

In our communities, we have the opportunity to vote for leaders who are responsible for enacting public policy in the neighborhoods we live in. Why is it then, that when it comes time to vote in local elections, ballots are left blank? This paper delves into voter engagement, its presence in local politics, and questions the idea of voter fatigue and political apathy in alignment with virtue ethics, while providing potential solutions to enhance voter engagement.
