Description

The claiming of Indigenous artifacts by non-Indigenous peoples is unjust and enables the erasure of a nation’s identity – specifically the United States and its history. I will discuss the illegal registration of intellectual property – artifacts – belonging to Indigenous people and how this denies the existence of entire nations. In accordance with this, I will explain the significance of “bearing false witness” in this nature ruins civility from the roots.
