This presentation will be about the costs between the Cost of Allowance (COA) and Tuition and fees. This is often referred to as the “financial aid gap.” These additional costs come as a surprise to students, especially those that come from underserved communities. This can negatively impact how well students are able to perform in their classes as well as create other financial issues. I hope to find solutions that can at least inform students ahead of time so that they can properly prepare themselves for their courses.
