Description
Education is a human right that all humans need to exercise in their lives, and it is a necessary aspect of life that empowers society. As education is a right for all humans, this right should be available to both men and women equally. In most countries, women do not have the same right to education as men, especially in Ethiopia. Women in Ethiopia should be allowed access to education because it is their right. Especially in Ethiopia, this right is not accessible for most women, which is impacting society in different ways. They are going to impact society because women are the foundation of society. Those impacts are mostly affecting women directly and society as a whole. Some of the causes are a lack of support for females in school, which includes a role model, a lack of government financial support, and harmful social norms. Solutions to these issues are to increase support for girls in school, increase the government’s financial support by addressing or funding the right amount of education, and raise awareness in society about why education for girls is important. These solutions can promote and protect the fundamental access to education that Ethiopian women should have.
