The AI Forward in PNW Academic Libraries: An Orbis Cascade Alliance Alliance AI Unconference is a free one-day in-person opportunity for librarians working at an Orbis Cascade Alliance library to explore and discover possible intersections and impacts of AI and generative AI with academic library resources, services, and operations.

This unconference is being hosted by Seattle University and Seattle Pacific University, and a result of receiving the Alliance's 2023-2024 John F. Helmer Professional Development Award.
Registration
-Registration opened on September 4, 2024.
-Registration is limited to Orbis Cascade Alliance members. The reason is because the event is supported by the Alliance's John F. Helmer Professional Development Award.
-Registration is accepted on a first-come first-serve basis until we reach capacity.
Hotels
There are several hotels in the area. Kennedy School (1.2 miles away); Radisson Hotel Portland Airport (3.3 miles away); Holiday Inn Portland Airport (3.9 miles away). There are several other Airport hotel options within this range.
Meals
Lunch and snacks will be provided by Elephants Catering to all attendees.
