Abstract:

Join this panel to learn about effective affordability strategies implemented by Oregon institutions. With statewide policies in place, point people at each institution set local goals so that course materials are available to all students. We will share a range of approaches that reflect our different teaching and learning environments and discuss factors that enable success. Participants will take away ideas to implement in their own settings.

Outcomes:

Participants will compare different strategies for textbook affordability implementation. Participants will understand the benefit of a local approach to textbook affordability programming.
