No alignment with the Summit theme, or an artificial or superficial connection. Purpose of the proposal is unclear and/or unfocused. Does not articulate outcomes or paths for audience engagement. Unclear what takeaways from the session will be. Not appropriate for the proposed session format, and unclear how the session would be made to fit the requested format. No mention of student collaboration or student-led initiatives.
Underarticulated or loose connection to the Summit theme. Purpose is addressed, but the scope is too broad or too niche for the Summit. Articulates the outcomes and value of the session, but may be unclear in how audience members will apply the outcomes to their own work. Proposal is not ideal to the intended session format, but may be possible to modify or recommend to a different format. Tangential or minor connection to student collaboration or student-led initiatives.
Aligned with the Summit theme. Purpose, focus and scope of the presentation is clear and will appeal to the attendees of the Summit. Clearly articulates how the audience will be able to apply the session to their own work. Proposal and proposed session format clearly align, but audience participation is unclear or not present. Makes clear connection to student collaboration and/or includes student presenter(s).
Aligned with the Summit theme and employs a unique or innovative perspective or approach. Purpose, focus and scope of the presentation is clear and will appeal to a majority of the attendees of the Summit Clearly articulates how the audience will be able to apply the session to their own work. Describes how presenter(s) will interact with attendees. Proposal and proposed session format clearly align, and the level of audience participation is appropriate for the session format. Substantive focus on student collaboration with student-led presenter(s) and/or representation.
