Spectrum Dance Theater

Spectrum Dance Theater (SDT) was founded in 1982 to bring contemporary dance to audiences of diverse social, cultural, ethnic and economic backgrounds. In 2002 noted choreographer Donald Byrd became artistic director invigorating the SDT's three organizational components: a professional company, School, and community and outreach programs.
