Equinox Studios was started in 2006 by Samuel Farrazaino as 38 artist and artisan studios in a collaborative community in the Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle. In 2015, Equinox expanded to just under 100,000 square feet of studios, dance rehearsal, performance, and other arts-focused spaces with over 125 tenants, and became tenant owned based on a new model for sustainability.
