Description

We should strive towards a society that promotes equality and eradicates all forms  of prevalent discrimination. I am going to talk  about  Chhaoupadi,  the Nepalese practice of requiring menstruating women and girls to be in isolation, its  history and the demographic that  is  impacted. I will add my own experience in the beginning of the presentation with some pictures. I will provide the reason behind this practice and how it is rooted in the Nepalese society. At the end I will provide some solutions that  show  how we can eliminate such  an  unhealthy and unhygienic practice from the society.
