The student to prison pipeline is a present-day issue that is depriving students from their right to an education, and we must act accordingly. It is an injustice to lead students down this pipeline and restrict them from leading a successful life. This presentation will cover how the zero-tolerance police fed the pipeline and its target of students of color. Next, an analysis will cover how lack of training and diversity of school faculty contributes to the pipeline. Lastly, a series of solutions will be provided to move away from the pipeline.
