Abstract
Originally written as a reflective blog entry for the Seattle University’s College of Education website, this paper highlights the significance of using cultural im- mersion experiences to enhance the learning process. As demonstrated through SDAD 584: Comparative Education and Social Policy, when students are im- mersed in a new cultural setting, they can gain a con- textual framework for understanding the complex ideas and systems they are studying.
