Abstract
This piece examines the struggle of being a graduate student and a full-time working professional in admissions - a field that is not often seen as being a core student affairs profession. Through reflecting on my experiences in class, and the recent attendance of the National Association for Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) Western Regional Conference, the author was able to better understand their position in the SDA program and ultimately in their current and future career.
