Abstract
The field of student affairs work has struggled throughout its history to clearly define its central mission and role in higher education but because of the education I received through the SDA pro- gram at Seattle University, I have not struggled to define my purpose. The author of this article examines how the values of the Seattle University SDA program shaped her work and offered en- during purpose.
